In the winter of 2022, our company YPAEN IKE, proceeded with the upgrade of the existing seawater desalination unit producing 600 m3/day on the island of Koufonisi in the Municipality of Naxos & Small Cyclades, to produce an additional 100 m3/day, i.e. a total of 700 m3/day.

As part of the implementation of the relevant contract, YPAEN IKE undertook the supply and installation of all the necessary equipment to upgrade the unit (membranes, membrane vessel, etc.), made the necessary hydraulic modifications to interconnect and support all the new equipment with the existing one.

Finally, it undertook the adjustment and parameterization of the individual elements of the desalination unit, so that they optimally meet the requested capacity.
